SAMSUNG has launched many products in the first half of 2019 itself. These products expand across many domains viz. Cellphones, sports watches, fitness bands etc. Succeeding the launch of these products are new tablets from the brand viz. SAMSUNG GALAXY TAB S5E AND TAB A10.1. These two tabs curated for the Indian market are being talked about for their lightweight, edge-to-edge design and PC like performances. Where the former is a deluxe mid-budget tablet, the latter is a pocket friendly tab. Let us look at their specifications individually.
1SAMSUNG GALAXY TAB S5E
The mid-range tab SAMSUNG GALAXY TAB S5E sports a 10.5 super AMOLED display with a 16:10 aspect ratio. The super slim and lightweight tab measures 5.5mm thick and weighs just 400g. The device is powered by Snapdragon 670 and comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage expandable upto 512GB via microSD card. Additionally, the tab offers quad speakers by AKG. It also supports Dolby Atmos. The tab packs 7,040mAh battery and the box comes equipped with 15W fast charger. SAMSUNG GALAXY TAB S5E operates on Android Pie and One UI. On top of that, TAB S5E is DeX mode supportable. Thus, you can enjoy the feel of a PC by connecting POGO keyboard.
The SAMSUNG GALAXY TAB S5E is priced at a starting rate of Rs. 35,999 only. The tab comes in two variants, one that supports Wi-Fi only and the other one that supports Wi-Fi +LTE. The later is priced a little higher at Rs. 39,999 only. The tablet went on sale from June 24 across online and offline platforms including Samsung e-shop and Samsung Opera, Amazon, Flipkart etc. SAMSUNG GALAXY TAB S5E is available in three colors viz. Silver, Black and Gold.
2SAMSUNG GALAXY TAB A 10.1 SPECIFICATIONS
This entertainment centric tablet sports a 10.1 inch FHD LCD display with thin bezels all around the screen. The tab weighs around 470g and measures 7.5mm thick. SAMSUNG GALAXY TAB A 10.1 is powered by Exynos 7904A octa-core chipset and comes with 32GB of internal storage. It packs 6,150mAh of battery and unlike SAMSUNG GALAXY TAB S5E, this does not support fast charging but operates on same Android Pie and One UI. It embodies 8MP rear camera and 5MP front camera. The tablet also supports Dolby Atmos and hosts two speakers.
The SAMSUNG GALAXY TAB A 10.1 is priced at a starting rate of Rs. 14,999 only. The tab comes in two variants, one that supports Wi-Fi only and the other one that supports Wi-Fi +LTE. The later is priced a little higher at Rs. 19,999 only. The tablet went on sale from June 26 across online platforms including Amazon and Samsung’s online stores. The Wi-Fi + LTE variant went up on sale on July 1 across online and offline platforms including Samsung e-shop and Samsung Opera, Amazon, Flipkart etc. SAMSUNG GALAXY TAB A 10.1 is available in three colors viz. Silver, Black and Gold, just like its sibling.
