Xiaomi debuts in the grooming industry with XIAOMI MI BEARD TRIMMER. The trimmer is designed exclusively for Indian market and the launch is limited to the country only. The IPX7 certified trimmer went on sale for the first time on June 27 on various platforms including Amazon, MI.com, MIHomes etc. XIAOMI MI BEARD TRIMMER costs only Rs. 1,199. But is it worth buying? XIAOMI MI BEARD TRIMMER comes with an array of settings for diverse beard types. The trimmer sports couple of combs and 40 length settings. Yes, that’s right! The trimmer offers full control to the user. It can be used both ways with corded and cordless support. Trimmer comes integrated with stainless steel blades with self sharpening property. The blades offer a staggering precision of 0.5mm.
The earlier mentioned 40 length settings comes segregated with 2 combs having 20 settings dial each. Xiaomi claims that the overall grip is enhanced by the quad-edge design and its texture makes it slip-proof.
On the battery front, the company claims that XIAOMI MI BEARD TRIMMER can withstand a single trimming session with just 5 minutes of charging. Once fully charged, the trimmer can be used for 90 minutes. It can be charged with a traditional USB and is supportable with almost all power banks.
Additionally, the trimmer also boasts a feature called Travel Mode, wherein, the trimmer will use less battery. It also sports a Safety lock button that ensures that you do not turn on the trimmer accidentally. As previously mentioned, the trimmer is IPX7 certified which means you can wash it directly under water.

XIAOMI MI BEARD TRIMMER comes only in black shade. That said, the first grooming product from the brand seems to be promising and bears a nominal rate tag.
