Xiaomi is India’s one of the loved and most popular smartphone manufacturers. Big news of the hour is the launch of mi’s Note 8 Pro and Note 8. The Launch of Redmi Note 8 and Note 8 Pro totally replaces the Redmi Note 7 Pro launched early this year. The mi’s Note 8 and Note 8 Pro offers a different range of specifications, spread across a wide price band for phones under Rs 20,000.

The Redmi Note 8 is driven by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 SoC, and comes with 4GB or 6GB of memory, and monstrous 64GB or 128GB of native storage. While, the Note 8 Pro sports a MediaTek Helio G90T gaming SoC, clubed with 6GB or 8GB of RAM, and equal storage as Redmi Note 8 – 64GB or 128GB.

The Specifications

Redmi Note houses a 6.3-inch full HD+ display with a waterdrop notch at the top. Note 8 Pro on the other hand, is taller and houses a 6.53-inch panel, with full HD+ resolution and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on top. The complete phone is powered by 4,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging support while the Note 8 Pro offers a 4,500mAh battery to last through long gaming sessions, and even features 18W fast charging for quick charge access.

The fingerprint sensor is at the bottom of the main strip. It’s quite smaller than general, but very easy to reach since the strip is raised. The smartphone is a dual-SIM smartphone having two small trays on the left for two Nano-SIMs and a microSD card.

For the camera specifications, the Redmi Note 8 Pro on the rear sports a 64-megapixel primary camera with an f/1.79 aperture; a second 8-megapixel camera with an f/2.2 aperture; a third 2-megapixel camera and a fourth 2-megapixel camera. The rear camera setup has autofocus. It sports a 20-megapixel camera on the front for selfies, with an f/2.0 aperture.

As of 17th October 2019, Redmi Note 8 Pro price in India starts at Rs. 14,999.
