Honda Cars India may finally be able to launch details about the upcoming BS6 Honda Jazz 2020. The company has launched first teaser image of the upcoming jazz car for the Indian market. The company will reportedly update the upcoming car with minor tasteful changes and BS6-compliant petrol & diesel motor alternatives.
There has not been any declaration regarding any important details of the upcoming updated Jazz, however, the 2020 Honda Jazz price will be higher than current active model and could be between Rs 8 lakh and Rs 10 lakh (all costs ex-showroom, India).
2020 Honda Jazz Engine Details
The significant upgrade that could be seen on the upcoming BS6 model is of course BS6-compliant petrol and diesel motors. The 2020 Jazz will continue the same the fuel engine of 1.2-liter iVTEC petroleum motor & a 1.5-liter iDTEC diesel motor from the honda jazz 2019. Both the engines are similar to the one’s seen on the updated Honda Amaze are in the same state of tune as well.
The petrol version will sport 90bhp and 110Nm of peak torque while the diesel version will reportedly have 100bhp and 200Nm of peak torque. Although its yet to know, Honda might also showcase the honda jazz CVT for the diesel version of the car at the time of launch.
2020 BS6 Honda Jazz Exterior
Honda Jazz Exterior, will reportedly get large LED taillights & 16-inch wide alloy wheels, along with refreshed bumper design. The head lamps and front grille will bear no change and stay similar to the outgoing model. Honda Jazz interior also stays largely similar to the previous model, while the top variants of the car continues to sport Android Auto, a touchscreen infotainment system, Apple CarPlay, adjustable & foldable ORVMs with turn indicators and automatic climate control.
Honda Cars India will dispatch the BS6 Honda Jazz once the coronavirus pandemic goes after which it will assume any semblance of Maruti Suzuki Baleno, Hyundai i20, Tata Altroz and Toyota Glanza.
